 I can't believe it's been just over a year since I cobbled together some beginner's HTML and put this thing out there. Haven't changed all that much, really. I am in awe that over half a million hits later, you and I are still dancing this dance - no ads, no fancy logo (well, except for the one up there - thanks J!), hardly ever any breaking news, a motley cast of irregulars, and li'l ol' me. Who could ask for anything MORE?

Due to my vacation (and after-effects), we didn't celebrate the "proper" birthday, and even now this will have to be an extended celebration - I haven't even put together my very special take on what a year of webmastering has meant to me and DONE to me! So come back tomorrow!

In the meantime, I am very greatly indebted to the fine folks below who managed to meet deadlines and send me some of the finest work I've had the pleasure to showcase on this site. I can't tell you how proud I am of how far we've gone in a year - and I hope you'll think so, too.

Also, some very special surprises - back in circulation: everything I produced for other sites in 2000! And...a very, VERY special tribute - to a man who CAN'T leave me alone.
