WWF VENGEANCE

Alright, I've put this off long enough. Let's go!

Since the beginning...there has never been...one undisputed champion. Tons of great clips of old stars. Classy Freddie seems to be the centrepiece of this one. I'm VERY impressed the WWF included the pics of Luger, Nash, and the gang in WCW. That's so not Vince-like. Four superstars - three matches - two titles - one undisputed champion. Sweet package.

Lugz presents WWF Vengeance.

Sinner by Drowning Pool welcomes us to San Diego, CA! Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler waste no time in hyping Jericho, Angle, Rocky, and Austin!

No Chance...a bloody interview on PPV? Ugh, I thought this died in 1998. Isn't this what Heat is for? "Just for the record, last Thursday night... Just for the record last Thursday night as I stood in this ring, I wasn't about to kiss anybody's ass. There's no one man big enough or bad enough to make me kiss anybody's ass. I was in this ring about ready to take care of business and what happened? What happened? Stone Cold Steve Austin shows up on the TitanTron, beats the hell out of Kurt Angle, and then threatened to beat me up if I left the ring. And then, then after that my very own 50/50 partner Ric Flair, Ric Flair comes out to the stage, and Flair says if any WWF superstars interfere in this proceeding he would immediately suspend them! And then...it happened. Then The Rock took advantage of me. Rock shoved my face into Rikishi's ass. It was the most embarrassing, the most humiliating experience of my life. And how did you people react? You laughed. As if this was some sort of cartoon on television, some sort of comedy skit on Mad TV, Saturday Night Live, you laughed. You laughed at me, Vince McMahon. You don't laugh at the misfortunes of billionaires. You laugh...shut up...you laugh, you laugh when I tell you to laugh, that's when you laugh. And if you don't remember anything else for the rest of the night, then you must remember this: He who laughs last, laughs loudest." Here he comes.... Ric Flair has the stick! "Did I hear you say laughs last? Whoooo! We hope we've seen the last of you tonight, 'cause these people came to see a PPV called Vengeance. Whooo! And the show is about to start...riiiight now. Whoooo!" Turn it up! Flair wasn't kidding!

SCOTTY 2 HOTTY and ALBERT vs. TEST and CHRISTIAN

I missed Heat, so I'm guessing this was set up at the last second, if it was announced at all. Dear god the quality of this tape is depressing. My fault for assuming a tape I've owned for 10 years would record in great condition.

Albert and Scotty attack before the bell on the floor. Scotty gets Christian in and we're off. Christian with a right hand. Scotty gets an Irish whip - off the ropes, duck through the legs, Christian with a waistlock, but Scotty elbows out. Scotty comes off the ropes, backflip, and nails Christian with a right. Christian charges right into a drop toe hold. Test gets tagged in and Scotty looks worried about horse face. He dives under Test's legs and tags in Albert. Right, right, whip, full bodyblock, and Test is down. Big splash, 1, 2, Christian makes the save. Albert sneaks up behind Christian and shoves him hard off the apron. Ouch! Scotty gets the tag. They double team Test across the ring. Scotty mounts the corner, starts a punchin', but Christian stops him and Test clotheslines him out of the corner. Punches for Scotty, and Christian is tagged in. Scoop slam, followed by stomps. Christian dives on Scotty with punches, and chokes him in front of the ref. Christian throws Scotty into the heel corner, and taunts Albert. The ref goes over to stop Albert from getting in, and the boys from Toronto do EVIL THINGS to Scotty. Test in now. Whip across the ring, and Test charges the corner with a clothesline. Scotty falls, 1, 2, Albert saves. Christian gets the tag. Chop, chop, punch, punch, choke with the boot. Christian breaks the hold at 4. Test tagged back in. Scotty gets slammed face first into the turnbuckle, takes a couple of rights, whip - Test charges and eats a back elbow. Test tries a clothesline, but Scotty ducks, tries a superkick which Test blocks. He tries another clothesline, Scotty ducks, and this time he connects with the superkick! Both men are down. Albert really wants to make a tag. Christian gets a tag and so does Albert. Clotheslines for Christian! Punches for Test! Albert does some hip hop hippo stuff, then whips the boys into eachother in the corner - and connects with an avalanche of his own. Christian staggers out - Albert trips him up and swings him around before dropping him. Test charges, takes an elbow, Albert covers Christian, 1, 2, kickout. Test and Christian try a double team but Albert runs them over with a double clothesline. Albert waits to hit the Baldo Bomb on Christian, but Test grabs him by the legs and pulls him out of the ring. They fight on the outside, and Albert gets rid of him. Scotty goes for the bulldog, but Christian drops him with a sidestep and a reverse DDT! He goes for the worm! W, O, he ducks the bicycle kick from Albert, goes for the Unprettier, but gets set on Albert's shoulders! Christian slips off the back and pushes Albert right into Test's awaiting boot! Christian covers, 1, 2, Scotty saves! Test holds Scotty in a full nelson position. Christian charges, Scotty ducks and takes Test with him, Christian elevated over the top and to the floor! Scotty hits the bulldog, and we're off. W, O, R, M. Boom. Test rolls out, Christian is in trying to put the Unprettier on Scotty, but Albert's right there! Uh oh! Baldo Bomb, 1, 2, 3.

Forearm to the back, waistlock, Regal turns around with a front facelock, but Edge goes back with a reverse vertical suplex and a bridge, 1, 2, no! Regal in the corner. Edge charges and takes a reverse elbow. Regal comes forward, and Edge uses his legs to toss Regal over the top and to the floor. From the apron Edge charges with the spear, but Regal sidesteps and Edge crashes into the steps! Regal heads over to the corner of the ring while the referee is worried about Edge and grabs his brass knucks. They're in his tights now incase he needs 'em. Edge gets rolled into the ring, Regal covers, 1, 2, foot on the ropes. Regal makes faces. Double underhook...he hits the tigerbomb! 1, 2, Edge kicks out. Regal stomps Edge, picks him up, and Edge hits an enzuigiri! They're both down. Regal gets up at 8. He charges Edge, but gets rolled up, 1, 2, Regal's out. Excellent match.

Ric Flair's on the phone, and he's not able to believe there's going to be one undisputed champion. Kurt Angle comes in and reminds Flair that he who laughs last laughs loudest. Kurt reminds Flair he's an Olympic gold medallist, and Flair NEVER will be. He was also never undisputed champion of the world. Kurt brags a whole lot and Flair simply says "I believe you". Of course, we're all left hanging...WHO was Flair talking to on that phone?

Lita warms up to referee the match tonight. Matt walks in and reminds her it's been a rough time lately, but tonight means a lot to him. He's going to show he's the brains and the better wrestler of the Hardy Boyz. As his girlfriend she's always on his side. She can't take sides tonight because she's a ref. After he's done wiping the mat with Jeff, they're going to go out and put it all behind them.

Here's a video package stealing clips from the Hardy Boyz: Leap Of Faith, as well as clips from the past 3 weeks.

JEFF HARDY vs. MATT HARDY (with Lita as a Special Referee)

We're off. Tie up, and a Lita chant breaks out. Hah! They had it coming. Matt gets caught in a hammerlock, but turns it around on Jeff and trips him. Stop from behind draws boos. They lock up again, Matt with a side headlock, sent off into the ropes, and hits a shoulderblock. He comes off again, and Jeff comes over with a hiptoss. Matt runs over and stomps away on his leg. Jeff gets to his feet, and Matt's all over him with a clip at the knees. Matt yanks on the knee, and delivers a double leg drop onto the knee of Jeff. He hits a second one. Jeff to his feet, and Matt attempts a powerbomb, but is blocked by Jeff. Jeff turns around and delivers a side Russian legsweep! Double legdrop covers both legs of Matt in a pinning position, 1, 2, Matt escapes. Matt puts Jeff into a Canadian Maple Leaf, but Jeff reaches the ropes. Matt yanks Jeff away from the ropes, goes for a figure four, but Jeff shoves him off through the middle rope and to the floor. Jeff comes forward as Matt stands and delivers a baseball slide style dropkick to Matt's face. Jeff goes to do something slingshot like, but his knee goes out again. Matt gets in the ring, grabs the leg of Jeff - but Jeff kicks back with a mule kick. The brothers are down. Lita's count makes it to 6. They start a fist fight. Swanton Bomb is delivered! 1, Matt gets his foot on the ropes, 2, Jeff re-hooks it, 3!

NOTE TO JEFF HARDY: NEVER try mat based wrestling again!

Lita knows she messed up and shakes her head all the way to the back.

From the beginning to his career, to his ass kissing today - witness Undertaker: This Is My Yard on PPV this month.

Trish Stratus knocks on The Rock's dressing room door and enters. He's on the phone. Trish thinks they've been awesome in the ring together. She wishes Rocky good luck tonight, and gives him a kiss. He wants to know where she's going and keeps cutting her off. The only thing The Rock is interested in tonight is leaving the arena as the champ. However, after her big title match and after his big title match, there's gonna be plenty of time for her to smell what The Rock is (swivels the hips) cooking.

THE DUDLEY BOYZ (with Stacy Kiebler) vs. THE BIG SHOW and KANE (for the WWF World Tag-Team Titles)

The Big Show rules all, and you remember that!

D-Von ducks a clothesline from Kane, comes off the ropes, escapes a powerslam, but takes a boot to the mouth. Bubba charges, and gets backdropped across the ring. Bubba stays in the ring and Show is tagged in. Gutshot, elbow to the head, scoop slam, cover, 1, 2, shoulder up by Bubba. Bubba sent off the ropes, but he hangs on. He wants to tag D-Von who really doesn't want to, which leads to the Show coming to the corner and getting poked in the eyes. D-Von is tagged in. He runs right into a sidewalk slam, 1, 2, he's up. Into the corner, avalanche. Show drives his ass into D-Von's midsection repeatedly...hmm, interesting choice of words. Bubba comes over on the apron but gets clotheslined off. D-Von heads to the outside but Kane throws him right back in. Kane into the ring, and Show whipps him across to avalanche D- Von. On the other end, Show whips him again and Bubba takes the avalanche. Then Kane whips Bubba and HE avalanches D-Von! Then Show gets whipped by Kane and he avalanches everyone!!! They send the Dudleys out to the floor. Kane goes to the top rope and clotheslines them to the floor. Stacy gets in the ring, Show comes over and pants' her. Over the knee, Stacy gets a spankin'. Show heads to his corner, but the Dudleys have teamed up on Kane and hit the 2D. D-Von throws some punches at Kane. Whip is reversed, Baldo Bomb setup, but Bubba trips him up. D-Von holds open the legs for Bubba...Wassup? Kane beats up Bubba, but D-Von in the corner distracts him long enough to set up a double team flapjack. Show gets knocked off the apron, and the Duds wait for 3D. It doesn't happen when D-Von takes a boot and Bubba gets levelled. Show wants the "hot" tag. Here he comes. Clotheslines for all! D-Von whipped, and backdropped. Chokeslam setup, but Bubba clips Show. D-Von sends Kane over the top, but Show is more than enough to take them out. Kane dives off the top rope...and hits The Show with a clothesline. Oops. Bubba covers, 1, Kane breaks it up. Bubba gets sent to the outside. Show is NOT pleased about the screw- up. The Dudleys attack, and get their asses kicked again. Show hits the boot to the face of Bubba, charges with an elbow, but Bubba sidesteps, and he hits Kane! Show grabs Stacy by the hair while Bubba exposes a turnbuckle. He gets double flapjacked into the bolt. 1, 2, 3.

JR announces that was not a pretty match. I don't think it was the fault of the workers really, they just didn't mesh. I know this is me just being biased, but why did Show have to job here? Because KANE needs protecting? Kane's been tested at the main event level far more times than Show - give him a chance and see how the crowds react. I think they may be pleasantly surprised. And if it fails, you can all blame me and flame me to hell.

PSA: Please don't try this at home.

The Shopzone wants YOU to buy some gifts this Christmas. And just for registering, you might get a phone call. But you probably won't.

Lita apologizes to Matt like crazy, but he's not in the mood. You tell her!

Let's thank Drowning Pool for this Vengeance theme song - Sinner. It's all the same to me.

The Undertaker turns heel after mentioning a whole lotta names.

Taker makes a crazy old man face. He knows he's been beaten up here and is feeling every bit of it.

Ric Flair talks to SOMEONE on the phone. WHO is that? Chris Jericho bursts in and tells Flair he has all the confidence in the world, except confidence in Jericho. He's beaten The Rock twice, and he'll beat him for the third time tonight. Flair tells him if he can pull it off, he's gonna be The Man. Come on, we all know who The Man in the room is, and it isn't Jericho! Flair tells Jericho that tomorrow night he's gonna walk the aisle at RAW and crown an undisputed champ.

It's a Beautiful Day with HHH. This is his appearance by the way for everyone waiting for him...

Here's highlights from the asskissing segment on Smackdown!

Rikishi is in WWF New York. JR thanks Rikishi for giving Vince a taste of his own medicine. Rikishi says he thought he'd have to have Vince's head surgically removed from his ass. Now that the Kiss My Ass club is closed, he's back and ready to back that ass up one more time.
