BOOKER T. SUCKS

If any of you reading this article ever want to get on the radio, just send me an e-mail and we'll work things out. I run a radio show in the morning that needs some cool guests. So if you guys know any wrestlers, Indy WWF WCW ECW or whatever federation, just tell me, because I'd love to interview them, if they were interested. You can listen to me every morning from 10-12 AM on www.x104.fm.

Anyway, I must tell you that I too marked out when I saw ECW in that very ring. Even though it was quite inside the internet, 75% of casual fans still understood what Paul Heyman and ECW are about. Seeing those ten guys turn around at once was one of tightest wrestling scenes I've seen in a while. I got to tell you that seeing Vince and Shane talk about bonding together to put ECW out of business was very ironic. That is what WCW and the WWF did all those years. They robbed ECW out of all the talent like the Dudleys, Raven, and Tazz; so the whole idea of WCW and the WWF coming together to battle ECW was similar to the two New York baseball teams joining forces to battle the evil Montreal Expos. I loved the angle up until the end. I don't like Stephanie McMahon being the owner of ECW, because everybody knows that Paul is the guy who should be the skipper. I don't like how ECW sided with WCW because it was Paul Heyman who had the testy relationship with Eric Bischoff and others, while he was on good terms with Vince. Well, I think our opinions about this angle might chance once we see Smackdown and the PPV. I am not sold on it, yet I am not going to write it off. Does this mean a diminished role for Tazz on heat and Smackdown? That would be a shame, as Tazz was really getting babyface pops for his work.

Now, on to the title of this article. I think it speaks for itself. I dislike Booker T. Call me an idiot, but you should have seen how hostile this Tacoma crowd was to him. I watched a lot of WCW and noticed fans not popping for him, and infact booing him in some instances. I think Booker T. sucks. He should not be the WCW champion and the guy they build around. He should not be the #1 guy. Nash, Hall, Hogan, Goldberg, Sting, Flair, BPP, all receive louder ovations from the crowd. Booker T. simply sucks. He is a midcarder who got shoved down the casual wrestling fan's mouths so hard that he is not going to get forgiven for it. I liked Booker T. when he was the television champion raising the roof with Benoit. But like Benoit, I have never seen a guy more useless on a mic. Those catchphrases are dumb and archaic. When he speaks, he doesn't draw much of a reaction. He doesn't get face pops that are any bit bigger than Scotty 2 Hotty. His wrestling is quite average. Why do you think we chanted boring in Tacoma? Because we were bored with Booker T.! His moves are not impressive, he can't sell too great, his look is kind of lame, his interviewing is subpar, so why the pub?!! I know the guy works hard and I respect him for that. So what, Hugh Morris works hard, so should he be a main eventer? Tell me one good trait about Booker T. that puts him with the elite. Remember when he called himself the People's Champ and tried to act like the Rock. That was idiotic, and this past Raw, Angle did a segment, and all Booker could do was mumble, while Angle carried his ass in the ring and on the mic. When Steiner said, "I don't really understand this save the drama for your mama thing, I don't understand ebonics", the crowd cracked up. As much as you want to blame Vince Russo and Bischoff for the demise of WCW, blame Booker T. After all, he was the top guy for about a year, he was the main eventer, he was the guy who was supposed to sell t-shirts. He went over Goldberg, Steiner, and Jarrett, and still couldn't get over. Has this guy really had any memorable main events? Has he had a memorable moment? Nobody in Tacoma chanted Booker T. unless sucks was after it. I'll give him credit. He is an example of professionalism as its finest. He was a great tag team champion and television champion. But as a top guy in the business, no way. The fans don't buy it, just us internet people. Booker T. needs to have his ass carried by a WWF guy, and I don't see why we all love Booker T. And like Angle said, If that's even his real name.
