Commentary: So much for the chalk today. In the biggest upset in the two-year history of the tournament, Yoshihiro Tajiri upset the Rock in two straight falls. Another stunning upset was Mike Quackenbush pulling out a victory over indy darling Low-Ki, thrilling at least one former valet living in Pennsylvania, for a variety of reasons.
Round Two Preview:
The Northeast will see some classic matches, as Steve Austin takes on Ric Flair (a Final Four caliber-game 3 or 4 years ago) and HHH takes on frequent nemesis Kurt Angle.
In the Parts Unknown region, the marks will want to see Jarrett vs. Guerrero, but smart fans will be salivating over Quack versus Modest and Daniels versus Diamond.
Although all the matches in the Far East bracket will be super, you can't help but be drawn to Misawa versus Kawada, whose wars between each other are legendary.
There are also no channel-changers in the South region, either. You can't go wrong with former partners tangling in Wagner versus Warrior and long-time foes Santo and Blue Panther go at it.
Come back after Wrestlemania on Monday for the Sweet Sixteen match-ups.
