Those in the know are still buzzing about the Rock's stunning first-round exit from the tournament at the hands of Yoshihiro Tajiri. But how the Japanese Buzzsaw fare against the Undertaker?

As it turns out, not well at all. Midnight came early for this Cinderella, as the Deadman took care of Tajiri fairly easily. The upset, at least officially, came when Ric Flair took out number one seed Steve Austin. Of course, we are talking about Ric Flair, so how surprising can it be really? The other matches saw HHH defeat Kurt Angle and Steve Regal took out Lance Storm.

In the Sweet Sixteen, we can look forward to a match between the Man, Ric Flair and "The New Man," HHH and a definite style clash between the Undertaker and Steve Regal.

Another big upset came in the Parts Unknown bracket as Mike Quackenbush defeated Internet favorite Michael Modest. Perhaps the biggest news is that number one seed Jeff Jarrett survived a tight contest with Eddy Guerrero, a match you'd normally see in a later round. Also, Kid Kash beat Donovan Morgan and Christopher Daniels defeated Simon Diamond.

In the Sweet Sixteen, Jarrett takes on Kash and Quack goes for the trifecta of upsets, taking on another Net favorite, Daniels.

In the Far East bracket, things are a little more normal. In the match of the tournament so far, old rivals Misawa and Kawada tore it up with a four-star contest, with Misawa coming out on top. A mild upset came when Masato Tanaka defeated Kojima. In other contests, Nagata defeated Tenryu and Muoth took out Akiyama.

Previewing the Sweet Sixteen, Mutoh takes on Tanaka and Misawa squares off against Nagata.

The South bracket is the old place where the chalk has held form. The top four seeds all advanced to the semi-finals of the Region. Dr. Wagner took out former partner Black Warrior, while his brother, Black Tiger, went over Satanico. Shocker defeated Rey Bucanero and El Hijo del Santo triumphed over Blue Panther.

In the next round, Wagner takes on Santo, while Black Warrior meets Shocker.
