wCw INVASION THOUGHTS AND MORE

Hello everybody. It's Zach Hershman again and this is my weekly view on a little of this and a little of that.

Over the last couple of weeks I have done a couple columns on what I have thought about the wCw "Invasion" and what I would do myself.

Well this week I am going to start a little differently. First off I am going to apologize for criticizing what the WWF has done so far. It seems that nobody has liked what the WWF has done so far. As a fan of wrestling I am loving almost everything I have seen so far. Yeah there are things I would have done differently, but that doesn't mean I haven't liked what I have seen so far. Sure I questioned it when they had Hugh Morrus come out, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. Seeing anybody from wCw has me marking out. When I watched Raw on Monday it was the first time in a long time that I didn't want to miss a single part of the show. That right there alone is great. So for everyone that is ripping into the WWF for what they have done so far with the "Invasion" angle I say one thing. Chill out, relax, and have fun. This is supposed to be a great time for wrestling and to the majority it is. The WWF is never going to be able to make everyone happy especially with everyone on the internet booking there dream matchups. I am not saying that people should not write these columns, but they just have to realize that when you read them that whatever the WWF does is going to disappoint. What everyone has to realize is that the WWF can't fulfill everyone's dream. They have to work with reality. And the reality is is that Goldberg, Sting, Flair, Nash, and Steiner are all going to hardball the WWF right now and won't be back for a while. With all that said there is a couple of things I would love to see right now.

The WWF has a couple of people under contract right now that would work great together on tv. These to people might want to kill each other backstage because of their huge egos. This might also be some dreaming on my behalf, but I like to dream. Just think of this.

Right now the WWF tag team division is pretty big. It's actually at the point to where they could make it main event status. Well maybe not with the Dudley's with the belts. First thing I would do is have Edge & Christian win the titles back. They then can cut a promo about them being the greatest ever and nobody can beat them. Next thing you see is 2 guys in masks and wearing wCw shirts attack them. You could have it go on for a couple weeks where E&C just keep getting attacked by these guys. Then you can have E&C on Smackdown challenge them to a match for the titles at Invasion if they take off their masks and show them who they are. They will agree to reveal themselves on Raw. This would create great anticipation for Raw and I think it would be better than the DDP stalker angle.

Now we are at Raw and it kicks off with some wCw music. Raw starting with wCw music would have the show off to a great start as is. In the ring you will have the 2 men in masks. But before they can start talking out comes Vince. Vince is about to have them arrested until E&C come out and calm Vince down. They decide to let them reveal themselves. First guy takes off his mask and it is Rob Van Damn and Paul Heyman goes insane. Vince starts a rant of his about RVD being a great wrestler in ECW, but that's ECW. ECW sucks compared to the WWF. This gets Paul Heyman's attention and he gets in the ring. Heyman starts to rip into Vince. He then tells Vince he quits as his announcer and he is going to go work for Shane. (This will make it possible for Lawler to return). Vince is irate by now and wants to know who the other man is. So off comes the mask and it is "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. This would piss Vince off and shock him.

I won't go on from there because there is so many ways you could go with this angle. But just think of these two working together. They are both great performers and they are both great on the mic. I know I am in a dream world with the Shawn Michaels part, but I would love to see it. I am a huge Shawn Michaels fan and I have been praying for a couple of years for him to come back.

Well those are my thoughts. Give me some feedback with some of your thoughts. Till next time. Any feed back is appreciated. Email me at zach2589@yahoo.com
