GREETINGS FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

Hello All!

I am here again, albeit totally infrequently to attempt to be a columnist and write about what I have been looking at the last few weeks. The debut of the New World Order more specifically and a couple of other things.

NW Uh Oh!

I am not totally buying this idea right now. If the crowd reaction is any indication, this may or may not get over with the fans. The thing I do like about it is the way that Vince is going about bringing them in. I loved the promo on RAW. That video tribute played was really good as well! There were guys and gals that were shown on there I haven't seen in a long time. It was a really classy way to show the lineage of the WWF. Vince's intensity was not bad as well and Flair's pleading for the New World Order to not be brought in gave the feel that these men aren't to be played with. Not bad overall.

Internet Feuds

I just want to touch on this very quickly. I have been reading Michaelangelo's column since early 2000. I have to say that he has a very funny read! I love the spin he has on his column and loved the vague references although half the time I was wrong. I have had a chance to read the "other" column. There are similarities between the two but I just do not see the point in Mr. Burgan throwing the little disclaimer at the bottom of his recent report slandering our fellow columnist. Bottom line, one was funny. The other wasn't. You decide.

And Finally

On a personal note, I am headed to the WWF house show at Seattle's Key Arena on Sunday morning for what is being called "Pregame Pandemonium". Right now, the Card is looking like this:

  • WWF Undisputed Championship
    Chris Jericho vs. Triple H
  • Kane vs. Test
  • WWF European Championship
    Christian vs. Rob Van Dam
  • The Hardyz vs. The Dudleyz vs. Scotty 2 Hotty and Albert
  • WCW/WWF Cruiserweight Championship
    Tajiri vs. Billy Kidman
  • Mighty Molly vs. Jacqueline
  • Diamond Dallas Page vs. Lance Storm
  • The Hurricane vs. Sho Funaki
  • Val Venis vs. Ron "H2O" Waterman

I have to say, it looks like a good card so hopefully the action will be hot! I have some awesome seats as well so that will help out. Maybe I will forget that SmackDown! I was attended in Tacoma last summer.

I will be back on Monday to post the show results and have my opinion on RAW. Until then.

    GO PATRIOTS!!!!
