Also, it was damn fun. Four months of that, and Prime Time was gone. In its place was Monday Night RAW, which quickly became the hottest show in town. At least fifteen different people put up 'their' reports, but I'm happy to say that I outlasted all of them. That is, until now. *Ryanesque life update to follow...hit 'n' if you don't like it* I'm kind of surprised I managed to keep it up this long. After I got my degree (B.S., Computational Math--believe me, I *don't* want a Ph.D in it) and entered the Real World (well, sort of) it gradually became more and more difficult to put together a report every week. Add to that the fact that I really am trying to find a REAL job (being a temp with a degree loses its appeal very quickly), and I just don't think I can keep it up anymore. Let me take that back; I *can* keep it up, but I don't *want* to. Basically, it was a lot easier to post 6-7K of MNR reports when I was a lab monitor than now when I just don't have all that much time to watch the tape, write down the blow-by-blow, and get on here and type. To all the people who have written me email in the past: you're all awesome. I never knew how many Americans without cable, Canadians, and UKians there were. Hell, I even got mail from some people who actually *watched* the show. I hope you can forgive me leaving you in the lurch like this. Take heart, you still have Motherway's RAW Ripoff (he's been waiting for me to keel over since the show started, you know), which I'm sure he'll turn into a real report, and if he won't, there will always be *some* helpful person on r.s.p-w who sees a need and fills it. After all, that's how I got started. I'll still be posting smartass responses and satire that no one understands, just less of it. That takes *no* effort. Besides, I have my sights set on this computer facility that needs a manager... I may be back to my old schedule in a month. Think happy thoughts for me. -- / Christopher Robin Zimmerman / kzim@koko.csustan.edu / zimmerma@corsa.ucr.edu /
