ANALYSIS (and you can't spell it without A-N-A-L)
Let's go ahead and open up the discussion with the new number one ranked wrestler. It's Rob Van Dam by a couple of lengths over the new undisputed champ, Triple H. RVD had a few leaps in both the win/loss record and quality points. Expect to see these two chase each other down for a while until one of them loses their belt and falls off pace.

Speaking of off-pace, there's a huge gap from the second spot to the third, which is currently occupied by The Rock. While he was the number-one pick in the brand extension, he has been dabbling around in nWo business. This has affected all his categories, especially the strength of schedule. The nWo are still very fresh in the WWF and don't have the convincing power that the main events are demanding right now. If Rocky were to break away and go into a stable feud with Triple H or Kurt Angle or Chris Jericho right now, he may be able to close into on the top two.

Chris Jericho took a tumble over the past two weeks. He of course ended up losing at Wrestlemania, then lost another match without being pinned last night. Where does he go now? His workings with Triple H have been sub-par to be kind, and it's hasn't helped his status at all compared to his runs with The Rock and Steve Austin. If he was to hook up with one of those opponents again, it may be good more him. Sadly, I see a big slide in the future for Jericho over the next months. Not as bad as Angle went through, but still pretty bad.

Rounding out the top ten: Austin still turns in a number six ranking despite sitting at home this past week. Billy lands his highest spot even on the rankings. IT HAS TO BE THE NEW HEADBAND COLORS!! Kane could be looking at a main-event status soon, but will probably fall into the nWo black hole. Test got the big shaft in the draft. I felt he would at least be drafted in the top 10.

Finally, the new entries include Chuck, who has been off and on since I stared this. Next is Maven, who walked into Wrestlemania with his title, and eventually walked out. Then there's the first ranking of the Undertaker, who came in by the closest of margins over Kurt Angle, Scott Hall, and *surprise* The Big Valbo(w)ski.

The [rankings] at Wrestlemania

My rankings prove DOMINANT once again! Seven of Nine (not the Trek character) of the higher ranked wrestlers took home the big win. Just ignore the fact that you probably could've guessed those same seven without the rankings.

For an detailed explanation for the categories please check the first set of rankings.

Until next week...these numbers don't lie.
